Perking Up Tired Feet with Peppermint Foot Scrub

Peppermint Foot Scrub

Do you have tired feet? Are you tired of spending money on routine pedicures? If you answered yes to these questions then this post for Peppermint Foot Scrub may be a good one for you. This recipe is cost effective and is very simple to make. This recipe takes less than 5 minutes to put together and is non-toxic.

  • The Sugar exfoliates and sloughs away dead skin, smoothes calluses, improves cracked heels and rough spots.
  • The Coconut Oil is a great moisturizer, fights fungal and bacterial infections, helps to heel dry feet and helps to eliminate smelly feet as lauric acid kills the bacteria that causes foot odor
  • The Mint Tea and Peppermint Essential Oil is used to provide menthol, which provides a cooling sensation

Your feet will love you for using this product on them as it will make your feet feel fantastic! This scrub is an exfoliant, a moisturizer, an antioxidant, an antiseptic, and the cooling peppermint will bring a cooling sensation to your feet!!

Need cheap gift ideas? This is a great gift for any occasion. How many friends or family members do you need to gift this recipe? If there are 4 people you want to gift this foot scrub then quadruple the recipe. Also, print the recipe or write it on a little card for them that is tied to their gift. This way it is a gift that keeps on giving. Be creative – cute labels, little wooden scoops or spoons tied to the jar or other packaging – all these are ways to upscale your gift! Don’t just think of Christmas or Birthdays! Do you have a friend having a bad day or going through a personal issue? This is a great gift to let them know you are thinking of them.

Another idea is for a cheap girl’s day in – have a potluck with each friend providing an appetizer and bottle of wine. You will ensure you have all the ingredients below for the number of girlfriends that will be attending. Lay out the food, pour the wine, start the gossiping and get this party going! After eating, bring out all the measuring cups, bowls and ingredients below and let everyone create their own foot scrub. After making the scrub, go off in pairs and perform a pedicure on each other. If performing/receiving your own pedicure with a friend sounds scary or gross to you then just do the party and scrub-making party without the pedicure. This will be an event and get-together that all the girls will love!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup of Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of Coconut Oil
  • 1 Mint Tea Bag
  • 15 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil

Directions:

Mix together the sugar and coconut oil. Add the tea to the mixture and stir. Add the peppermint essential oil and stir all ingredients together. Scoop into a lidded jar.

Due to the fact that this scrub has mint tea/herbs, I would recommend refrigerating and storing it for up to 3 months. Have fun and enjoy!!

If you are a bath person and want to use this recipe as a body scrub then please eliminate the mint tea. I promise you that you will thank me for that tip! 🙂

Did you like the cooling sensation on your feet? Are you going to gift this recipe? If so, for what occasions?
