If you have dry or tired skin, try this moisturizing face mask which contains Aloe Vera Gel and Honey!

Since Aloe Vera is known for containing skin healing properties, this is the perfect ingredient for a face mask. Aloe Vera has been known to help treat various skin conditions including sunburn, acne and eczema. Aloe Vera is also rich in vitamins A, C, E and B12. It supports so many things like the production and release of collagen, speeds up healing time on wounds while preventing scarring, is an anti-inflammatory, is effective in treating fungal and bacterial infections, protects the skin from damaging effects of radiation therapy, hydrates the skin, and has a cooling effect on sunburn or rashes. Whew! That is a lot of power in one ingredient.

The other ingredient I want to emphasize is the honey. Honey has both antibacterial and antiseptic properties. It has tons of antioxidants and boosts collagen production. Honey also has healing properties and nourishes damaged skin. The enzymes in honey works as an exfoliator.

Why use box store or even name brand face mask when you can simply buy these two ingredients and make this face mask time and time again for very little cost.

I have used this many times and love how glowing my skin looks and how soft my face feels after each treatment.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of Aloe Vera Gel
  • 2 teaspoons of honey

  • Mix all ingredients together
  • Apply to cleansed face for 20 – 25 minutes
