There are 4 shade sets in Nudes, Oranges, Pinks and Reds – each set has 3 colors, and each set can make up to 1,000 shades of lipstick. When you buy all 4 sets then you have up to 4,000 shades of lipstick. Each cartridge or shade fits into the base of the Rouge Sur Mesure Custom Lip Color Creator. Each cartridge has an NFC tag that allows understanding of how much is left in each cartridge and the expiration date of each.

- Download the app (available on both iOS and Android)
- Use bluetooth to connect the Lip Color Creator to the app – you can find your perfect color combination in several ways:
- Shade Wheel
- Shade Match – Finding your perfect object color in any of your photos to recreate that color
- Shade Stylist – Scan your outfit you are wearing in order to get recommended shades based on matches and clashes
- Once you select your chosen color then the Lip Color Creator will print out the color combinations for you from the lip color cartridges (shades can also be saved)
- Once the lip color combinations have been injected into the top compact of the device, which is portable, then all you need to do is take your lip brush and swirl the colors together to come up with your perfect shade of lipstick
