This is ocean front shopping at its finest! It is also in a very affluent area of Virginia Beach. There is plenty of shopping from resort wear, menswear, spa and beauty treatments, art, accessories, etc.
There is everything from casual dining to fine dining, and lastly there is dining by the beach. Maybe it’s a cocktail or beer you want as you tap your foot to the music. You name it, 31 Ocean has it.
Across the street is Neptune’s Park and the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Lastly, don’t forget to jump into the ocean and jump a wave or two!

There are many things to do at or around 31 Ocean. All sidewalks and boardwalk is nicely paved so walking around the area is easy.
There are seafood restaurants, raw bars, fancy dining, casual dining, indoor dining or outdoor dining so there are many choices of where to eat; however, I would recommend you call your restaurant of choice to see if they take reservations during peak times.
Heaven with a Doggy Ice Cream Bar – oh, and cookies too!
This is definitely a dog community. Dogs are just as thrilled to be out and about in this area as their owners. It’s a great thing that there is even a doggy bakery, “Salty Paws“, where the dogs can grab a treat and take a rest from the sun. I bet it is a hard decision to choose between a doggy cookie or choosing a flavor from the ice cream bar – oh, what the heck – get them both! And don’t forget to add the sprinkles!!!!
Don’t forget your sunscreen. Even walking around and shopping and eating at the beach can have you burnt before you know it.
There are parking garages in the area that make it convenient for a ‘day’ visit.
I have been to many beaches on the East Coast, and this is a great little community/beach area. It is very clean, friendly people and there are plenty of shops, spas, and restaurants as well as the beach. What else could a girl want for the day?
