Feeling Tired and Exhausted?

Feeling Tired & Exhausted?
Are you feeling tired and exhausted?

Are you at a point where you are feeling tired and exhausted and there is no end in sight? If so, then know you are not alone. Between work and raising children or even helping aging parents can add so many pressures on a person. You are there for everybody else, but sometimes you feel that nobody is there for you.

I can tell you that God and Jesus are there with you at all times. Jesus wants you to lean into him – to give all your problems to him – to rest in him. Matthew 11:28 states, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” A lot of people are hesitant to believe that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit exist and that they are there to help us through life. Once you truly have a relationship with Jesus and are able to have a relationship with God, you will see that you are truly not alone. God will see you through all your storms in life.

A lot of my posts regarding emotions are always going to tie back to God and Jesus. God works miracles. He wants a relationship with us and wants us to lean into him through everything, all your good and bad times. The Bible has a great deal to say about walking with God. It is how you were intended to live. God’s desire for you is that you walk humbly in a relationship with him (Micah 6:8). This is what Jesus has made possible – for you to walk as Jesus did (1 John 2:6).

I, too, carry burdens, but I am able to give it all to Jesus and God lessens my load for me. A while back, everything with work just started going in the wrong direction – executives making lousy decisions, data integrations that were thrown together and not well thought out, the list went on and on. These decisions outside of my control was impacting me and my teams. We were working so many hours with no end in sight. It was miserable. I prayed and prayed and asked God to put me where he wanted me to be. There was a point where I knew I could not go on any longer in the madness that was going on, so I resigned. They asked me to work an addition month for them in which I did. However, this was the biggest blessing I could have ever received. I have been able to do my own thing, create my own schedule, to coach individuals starting new businesses and coaching small businesses in trends and actions to improve their business. I get to go back to using my skills and not as someone just helping with data entry because the proper planning was not in place at a corporate level (yes, they hired an outside firm to drive the work and they totally did not have it together – so is corporate life). There is nothing wrong with the corporate life – however, I love working with individuals to actually improve their life. Rebranding coaching, small business coaching, travel coaching and professional coaching are skills that God has given me to help others, and I don’t take it for granted.

The only thing you need to do is believe in Jesus, start praying/talking to him. God will listen to your prayers and will start providing what is needed for you. Please note that God nor Jesus is a magical genie. You don’t get everything you pray for. God answers prayers three different ways:

  1. Yes – he will provide what is needed to you in HIS time, not yours
  2. No – it is not what you need to give you your best life
  3. Later – Back to #1 – God provides on HIS time, not yours – He will give you exactly what you need when you need it

Believe it or not you are not in control, yes, you have free-will, but you are not in control. Turn it all over to God and He will provide what you need. In the case of being tired and exhausted, he wants you to rest in Him – tell him all your problems and you will start to see your life change. You will find more energy and ways in which to get things done. God wants the BEST life for YOU! He has a plan for you, and he wants the best life for you. You must believe in Jesus Christ, confess all sins and start your beautiful relationship. Communication is key – just like with our spouses and children here on Earth, God wants to communicate with you and prayer is the way to God; however, the only way to get to God is through Jesus. John 14:6 states, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

For those of you struggling with being tired and exhausted, I pray that God will lessen your burdens and provide the provisions needed for you. I encourage each of you to seek Jesus, believe in Jesus and pray to him.
