Mask for Dehydrated Skin

Aloe Juice and Olive Oil Face Mask

When we went to Iceland in January, yes, we really did that – my skin was so dry after that trip. I couldn’t find anything to hydrate it. I used high end lotions, prescription lotions and still, nothing would help. However, one night I took some Olive Oil and Aloe Juice and made a mask for my face. I applied it, and let it soak in while I took a bath. Thirty minutes later I removed it and my skin was so smooth and glowing! I truly love this recipe and is one of my favorites!

Olive Oil also brings about many benefits for your skin. Olive Oil is a natural moisturizer, has antibacterial effects, is an antioxidant and contains vitamins A, D, E and K. Olive Oil is also a great makeup remover as it can remove any water-resistant substances such as mascara or brow gels. This is an oil that you can actually dab around your eye area.

There are only two ingredients, is cheap and works better than very high-end products or prescriptions. This is an easy recipe that can easily be made over and over again and only takes two minutes to whip up.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of Aloe Juice
  • 1 teaspoon of Olive Oil

Directions:

  • Whisk together the Aloe Juice and Olive Oil
  • Apply to clean skin
  • Leave for 25 – 30 minutes
  • Wash off with lukewarm water

This recipe can be used as frequent as you like.
